Before Submitting

Before submitting your paper please review our Official Policies and Standards of Publication pages. For more information on the review process see our Review Process page.

Submitting Your Paper

There is no submissions deadline. The Pittsburgh Undergraduate Review has a rolling submissions process and accepts papers throughout the year.  Please note that current submissions will be reviewed for the 2007-2008 issue.

All submissions must be sent via electronic mail sent to PittUndergradReview@gmail.com For our sanity we ask that you format your submission in the following way.

The subject of your email should be: PUR Submission - <Your Name Here>

The body of the email should include the following information:
    name, email, address, academic institution, paper title, and thesis statement.

NOTE: It is important that you provide contact information that will be valid over the course of several months. 

Your paper should be delivered as an attachment to this email.  Only attach your paper to the email.  Bibliographies or Works Cited lists should be included in your paper as should any necessary appendices or data sets.

The Pittsburgh Undergraduate Review officially accepts a wide variety of file formats; however, OpenDocument, MS Document or PDF files are preferred.

Multiple submissions are allowed.  In this case attach one file per paper and please include the title and thesis statements of both papers in your email along and indication of which file represents which paper.
